The Pasqua family is inaugurating the “Hospitality at the Winery” project. The idea stems from our wish to be permanently in contact with our customers, giving them the opportunity to see the whole world of traditions, knowledge, experience and passion that lies behind eery glass of our wines, as well as offering them the chance to try our products together with traditional local dishes.
For generations the life of the Tessari Family has been dedicated to the cultivation of the vine in the Soave area, the oldest white wine production area in Italy. Since 1887 the family has owned vineyards at the very heart of the “Soave Classica” area. this is a restricted area with special soil, climatic and morphological conditions centered around the small village of Fittà. Today, the Tessari’s four daughters handle much of the day to day running of the winery. Stop in to visit and you will likely run into either Meri, Arianna, Allessandra or Valentina Tessari!
La Riva Dei Frati owes its name to the place where the vineyards are situated: an abbacy forgotten in time and a steep slope, a hill especially ideal for viticulture, exposed to wind and sun, where the true Prosecco grapes improve their fragrance. In fact we’re located in one of the most ideal areas of the territory in Valdobbiadene. These hills are followed by soft downward slopes, adorned by magnificent rows of vines, where for centuries man’s wise tradition has been consecrated to the culture of the vines.
Nestled among the natural scenery of the small village of Costermano, guests can enjoy the charming, refined, and peaceful atmosphere while they relax and gaze at the breathtaking view over Lake Garda and its nearby towns. The park with its pool, the tastefully furnished rooms, the terrace where you can lunch at leisure, and the spacious wellness facilities all form the ideal frame for a juvenating vacation. The shores of Lake Garda and scores of renowned restaurants are only a few minutes away by car.
The Aldegheri family has been working in the heart of the Valpolicella area with passion and commitment since 1956, making daily improvements to the process which transforms the product for which this area is world-famous: wine!
We offer full day guided tours to Veneto wineries by private car or mini-bus. ALL tours include wine cellar visits and wine tasting. Winery excursions may be scheduled for any date with two days advance notice and can be conducted in english.
