Etna Wine a is newly founded Agritourism resort deeply rooted in the past. Set at 700 m on the sea level. A “panoramic terrace” between the mount Etna and the Alcantara Valley. Settled in the lush vegetation of the vineyards the Villa has been completely remodeled to retain the beauty of it’s traditional architecture.
The hotel’s interior feels like an extension of this seascape, as the eight bright rooms are decorated in Mediterranean minimalist style. High ceilings and whitewashed walls provide a perfect backdrop for the vibrantly striped bed coverings, which bring a playful, nautical feel to the rooms. The rooms, some of which have a view of the port, are all furnished in essential Mediterranean style; all rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, televisions, telephones, minibars and room service. A characteristic feature of the residence is the breakfast whose menu includes home-cooked fresh food served seasonally on the panoramic terrace overlooking the sea and surrounded by jasmine and bougainvillea.

Palazzo Ajutamicristo is located in the heart of the historical centre of Palermo, just a few steps from other important monuments and close to the main means of transportation. Important conservation and restoration projects have been completed throughout the Palazzo. The frescoed ballroom ceiling, painted by Giuseppe Crestadoro, representing “The Glory of the Virtuous Prince”, is of particular interest, crowning the 200 sq. m. room which leads to the flowered terrace. Palazzo Ajutamicristo is listed as a National Monument and belongs to the Italian Historic Houses Association. Reception is personally taken care of by the Palazzo’s owners. Guests are free to wander in the XV century loggia or the garden terrace, “Cortile del Petrosino”, which open towards two ample courtyards, full of exotic palms, oleanders and banana trees.
You can choose among full-board, half board or only an overnight stay in the farm. The restaurant provides a cuisine linked to local traditions and flavors, well known for its freshness derived from local produce. All vegetables are harvested on site! Guests, should they desire, can roam the gardens to collect the vegetables they want to eat.
A courtyard separates the farmhouse from its guest rooms which were once used to store the grapes and produce wine from the neighboring vineyards. The building has two floors. On the ground floor you can find the breakfast room/dining room, which is in the restructured wine cellar. Here you will taste and enjoy typical Sicilian dishes prepared by our chef. The guest-rooms are situated on the second floor where you can also find a wide, quiet sitting room available as both a library and TV room. The building is entirely surrounded by citrus trees which release their delicate perfumes in the peaceful spring evenings.
