Surrounded by hills and protected by the Black Mountain to the North. The estate has a descending view of the Plain of the Minervois and the rugged outline of the Pyrenees. The present owners Denis and Sophie Morin were charmed by the natural beauty of the area, as they were by the vineyards growing on the slopes which surround the house and cellar. Our objective is to produce agreable and expressive wines from our terroir. La Villatade is also a magnificent “Maison de Maître” which offer spacious and comfortable accommodation.

Blanville is a wine estate in Saint-Pargoire in France’s Languedoc region producing great terroir wines. The Blanville winery is adjacent to the Château Rieutort, where our Bed & Breakfeast awaits you. Languedoc, large amphitheater bordering the Mediterranean sea, is the biggest wine-growing region in the world. Already renowned in the time of the Greeks and Romans, this vineyard witnessed the origins of modern vine growing and oenology. It is nowadays the birthplace of France’s new great wines.

The estate’s 65 hectares are home to a wide range of cépages, including such classics as Syrah, Grenache and old Carignan. Also present are Merlot, Tempranillo, and Chardonnay. The continuity of each varietal is ensured by re-plantation, while care is taken to maintain the senior vines, some of which exceed 60 years in age and produce the choicest fruit. Throughout every change that le Domaine du Bosc undergoes, the essential mentality remains the same: even if every other factor is perfect, you will never produce a good wine if you do not use good, healthy grapes. We make it our priority to dedicate ourselves to the care and special attention of our vines.
