Casa Silva’s winery is the oldest winery within the “Vinas de Colchagua”, both historically and traditionally. However, behind the old facade is hidden one of the most modern wineries in Chile. It has an array of different barrel rooms, underground tunnels, etc. The winery is now run by Mario Pablo and his brothers Francisco and Gonzalo, continuing on with the vision that Casa Silva be recognized as producers of the finest quality wines, leaders of the new generation of premium wines in Chile and considered as innovative pioneers with a life style that perfectly reflects the Colchagua Valley and is respectful of its traditions, its relationship with those who live there and the local community and environment.
Hotel Casa Silva
The time-honored family home on the Angostura Fundo, was recently converted into a boutique hotel. Guests experience an important part of the Silva family history and the charming spirit of the Chilean countryside, the wine, Colchagua, and its traditions. The hotel has seven finely decorated rooms and is equipped with many amenities such as a Frigo bar, satellite television, a meeting hall, pool, game room, laundry services, parking, and more.
Next to the hotel in the winery’s premium wine barrel room, Viña Casa Silva has opened a restaurant and wine bar decorated in refined Chilean winery style. Guests can enjoy an excellent selection of international cuisine and the best of typical Chilean food in the restaurant inside the century-old bodega. Warm native raulí wood once used in the old wooden casks welcomes the visitors and invites them to enjoy the generosity of its cuisine, among the best flavors of our land and reflective of the qualities of the prestigious house wines.
Guests at Viña Casa Silva can also visit its hundred-year-old bodega, taste wines from the most fascinating corners of Colchagua, take a carriage ride through century-old vineyards, and watch events such as polo, horse training, and a Chilean rodeo.
