Laurence Graff, Chairman of Graff Diamonds International Ltd, re-opened Delaire Graff Restaurant and Tasting Lounge in June 2009 after a complete rebuild. Delaire, which is located on the crest of the panoramic Helshoogte Mountain Pass, Stellenbosch was acquired by Graff in 2003 vowing to make it one of South Africa’s ultra premier wineries and prominent hospitality destinations.

WINES & VINES
Delaire’s unique location on the crest of the panoramic Helshoogte Mountain Pass is noted for its high altitude vineyards, excellent soils and cooling sea breezes. The estate’s location paired with a 230 ton wine cellar, one of the most advanced in the Southern Hemisphere, ensuring that Delaire Wines continue to improve year on year.

WINE TASTING LOUNGE
The Tasting Lounge offers guests the opportunity to experience the Delaire Range within spectacular interiors whilst enjoying the breathtaking views. Tasting options include informal tasting, tutored tastings or food and wine paired tastings.

THE RESTAURANT
Headed by executive Chef Christiaan Campbell, the menu offers approachable fine food with fresh and vibrant flavours. Guests are able to dine on the terrace under a canopy of pin oak trees or within the spectacular interiors whilst enjoying the breathtaking views Delaire allows of the Stellenbosch Valley and mountains.

GARDENS & ART
Delaire Graff Estate show cases various artworks which represent some of SA’s finest artists including William Kentridge, Robert Hodggins, Deborah Bell, Dylan Lewis, Sydney Kumalo and Anton Smit.  The gardens have been designed and re-landscaped by Keith Kirsten of Keith Kirsten Horticulture, a multi gold medal finalist at Chelsea Flower Show and show case various indigenous trees and plants. Art and Gardens form a significant part of the world class experience Delaire Graff Estate offers.

HOTEL & SPA
The Hotel due to open in early 2010, comprising of 10 unique suites designed by architect Pierre Bories and Interiors by David Collins. A world class Spa will offer luxurious treatments and the hotel the unique experience of sleeping amongst the vines.
