Established in 1692 under the name “De Leuwen Jagt” - Dutch for “The Lion Hunt” - Seidelberg Wine Estate builds on over 300 years of tradition. In 1997 Roland Seidel, who originates from Germany renamed the farm Seidelberg, his enhancement programme over the last 10 years has transformed this Historic Wine Estate into one of SA’s finest wine tourism destinations. Wine Tasting Cellar
Sample award winning wines in our cosy underground tasting room or under the new pergola whilst enjoying magestic views of Table Mountain and the Simonsberg Mountain range. The relaxed, informal atmosphere as well as the tranquil surroundings are perfect for wine tasting.Our Portfolio of wine includes 3 wine ranges, the De Leuwen Jagt range is named in honour of the original farm, the Seidelberg range is our Winery label and the Roland’s reserve range is our flagship range.

Guided cellar tours are available in various languages for visitors who would like more insight into the winemaking process. Informative tours give a wonderful overview of the vineyard and cellar practices giving the visitor a deeper appreciation of the wine making process. Relax and enjoy Italian flat breads filled with a variety of delicious toppings or a selection of platters. Served daily under the pergola or on the lawn and a perfect snack on while watching the sunset and enjoying a glass of wine.

Accommodations
Three historical 4 Star country houses on Seidelberg Wine Estate offer spacious accommodation combined with old fashioned hospitality. All private situated houses are equipped with wireless internet, satellite TV, CD player, log fire places. The recreation facilities are sauna, swimming pool and tennis court.
