Meadowood is a center of social, cultural and viticultural life in Napa Valley and a second home for those who enjoy the beauty and hospitality of the wine country. The Restaurant at Meadowood offers a fine dining experience in the country where the best traditions of Napa Valley are wedded with a modern, enlightened approach to cuisine.

Chef Christopher Kostow  states that “we consider ourselves part of the rich evolution of California Cuisine, which has always been based on the use of fresh, local products prepared simply to preserve and showcase the ingredients’ natural flavors.” This reverence toward locality and sustainability continues within our cuisine though we apply a slightly more modern approach in which the technique only serves to enhance the inherent character of the ingredients.

Wine Education
Each evening guests are invited to join us for a tasting of an outstanding Napa Valley wine. Most evenings feature a Napa Valley red wine. On Friday evenings our tradition is to share a Napa Valley sparkling wine. Along with the wine, enjoy spirited discussions about wine and colorful local vintners.

Lodging
Eighty-five cottages, suites and lodges, nestled into the forested hillside of our beautiful valley, provide the luxury of serenity and privacy. Terraces offer ideal settings for quiet contemplation or intimate meals.

For the last thirty years, Meadowood has served as the preeminent wine country destination for discerning travelers to the region. In 2001 the Meadowood partners acquired the land at the entrance to Meadowood along historic Silverado Trail and founded The Napa Valley Reserve, a private club offering its members the opportunity to experience and enjoy the way of life that surrounds the production of wine.

Today, Meadowood expresses the authenticity of country life and brings guests and members closer to the timeless traditions of the region. The property continues to serve as the common ground for the Napa Valley Vintners as well as an integral part of the cultural and social fabric of the community.
