Marlborough Travel is a family owned tourism company that has operated tours in Marlborough and cruises in the Marlborough Sounds for nearly twenty years.  Owner- Operators, Chris and Sue Godsiff, are both born and bred in Marlborough, as were their parents and grandparents before that.   This long line of family connection to the region and a total commitment to quality service has put Marlborough Travel at the forefront of tourism in Marlborough.

Marlborough Travel have a range of tours for you to enjoy the wine, the food, the arts, crafts and attractions of Marlborough. You can join a scheduled tour with others, take a private tour, or endulge in luxury and gourmet touring. 

Marlborough Travel operates a well-established land and water based tour business offering a large range of tours of the Marlborough region.   This range of tour options include Marlborough wine tours and scenic tours of the Marlborough wine region. (Wine tours are available on a private tour basis or you can join a tour).  Marlborough Travel also owns the luxury launch Odyssea for cruises of the Marlborough Sounds and charter boat cruising.  

Marlborough Travel has a range of vessels operating in the Marlborough Sounds.  These vessels service the Pelorus and Kenepuru and Queen Charlotte Sounds.   Our largest launch Odyssea is also available for charter out of the Marlborough Sounds and has operated in the Nelson and Wellington areas.

MV Odyssea: This well appointed 20 metre catamaran is ideal for large group tours and special functions.  It is available for all of your chartering needs including scenic cruises, our Greenshell Mussel Cruise, wine and food cruises, BBQ’s and dinner cruises, weddings, product launches, team building and corporate hosting. 

This vessel features a large lounge area with full bar and galley facilities, CD stereo and PA system.  Full 230 volt power is available via a generator.  The extensive back deck is ideal as a viewing platform while touring the Sounds or as a huge fishing area.  Licenced for 95 people this vessel is ideal for your next function.
