Typical Castilian Grill located in a traditional old cave-wine cellar underneath the castle of Peñafiel and nearby the wine museum. Ideal for enjoying the best of Castilian Cuisine, where quality, value and great service, coupled with the originality of the dishes, will delight the most discerning palates and amaze the curious. It is in short a kitchen full of flavors and sensations, which highlights dishes such as lamb roasted in a wood oven (“lechazo asado” seen in the photo above)

The wine menu is dedicated to Riberas wines, all quite reasonable priced.

Decorated in a typical rustic Castilian style; the best decoration is the cave stone, and the old barrels that were used to store wine. The cave is opened for lunch on weekends, and weekly for groups, but if you just want to see it, you can always go down from the main dining room.

Serving traditional food, the menu has a lot of items to choose from including the above mentioned lamb, grilled morcilla or black sausage as well as a large selection of fresh fish.
