Algodon Wine Estates is a magnificent 2,050 acre vineyard estate in the heart of Argentina’s scenic wine country, a region often referred to by wine enthusiasts as “the Napa Valley of Argentina.” This extraordinary property rests in the beautiful rolling foothills of the Sierra Pintada Mountains, at the base of the snowcapped Andes in San Rafael, Mendoza.

At the heart of our vineyard and golf estate you’ll find our world-class winery, which is housed in a single integrated structure that features three main sections: the Elaboration and Conservation area, the Cask Room (or Wine Cave), and the Lab and Tasting Room; which boasts an expansive view overlooking our vineyards, golf green, and the Sierra Pintada Mountains in the distance.

Our winery’s outstanding collection includes Malbec, Malbec Rosè, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet/Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay and our very special Gran Reserva. Craftsmanship and tradition, combined with state-of-the-art technology, allow us to obtain only the highest quality of wines.

Our hotel lodges were inspired by the traditional Argentine estancia and upscale country-living. Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep amongst the vineyards. Each suite features a wood burning stove and a cozy seating area, as well as access to a private outdoor patio. Large bathrooms with stone-tile décor include traditional fixtures and vine therapy bath products.

The lodge features an elegant and cheerful country gallery that includes a wet bar, two authentic fireplaces, and overlooks the guest pool and barbeque courtyard. Modern amenities and authentic old-world charm combine to create the perfect getaway along Argentina’s Ruta del Vino.

Our clubhouse restaurant features a traditional Argentine clay oven and flame broiling pit, and specializes in authentic Argentine gourmet cuisine. Our menu is seasonal, allowing us to serve only the freshest ingredients determined by availability. Each mouthwatering dish is traditionally prepared with only the finest local ingredients from our own plantation and those of our neighbors.

Set amidst an olive grove planted nearly half a century ago, the clubhouse restaurant looks out upon our fastidiously tended driving range and will soon overlook our forthcoming championship Tennis Center. The traditional design of the clubhouse is emphasized by its structural use of a combination of local wood, stone, straw and reed, giving it a true feel of rustic antiquity. We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, and are also available for private parties and events.
