In May 2007 Jim Gunther and Jamie Cherry of San Francisco, CA, took the reins as the new innkeepers of The Inn On First, a contemporary Bed and Breakfast Inn. Jim and Jamie bring a fresh look and fervor to excel in service to their guests. What distinguishes their luxury Bed and Breakfast Inn from any other in Napa Valley is the touch of San Francisco style they have added to the decor, and their focus on hospitality as a personalized gift to their guests.

The five Mansion Rooms are located on an exquisite estate built around the turn of the 20th century. While modernizing the interior to provide guests every contemporary comfort, we have remained true to the splendor and spirit of this grand manor.

Our Garden Suites are the pinnacle of luxury and comfort. Nestled under a 150-year-old oak tree, the five-suite structure was designed to complement the grandeur of the original estate. Each spacious Garden Suite has a private exterior entrance, a balcony or deck overlooking the garden.

Each guestroom features:

Two-person whirlpool tub
iPod-ready alarm clocks
Luxurious robes and fireplace.
WiFi Internet service is available to all our guests throughout the Mansion and in the Garden Suites.
Rate includes full breakfast for two each morning and is based on double-occupancy.

Picnic Carriers & Backpacks
In each room there is a picnic basket for you to use during your stay. If you wish to take the experience home with you, you can purchase a picnic basket or wine carrier.  Also available are various wine, cheese and other assorted appetizers for guest’s enjoyment.
