Casa do Visconde de Chanceleiros is a quaint, 10-room bed-and-breakfast built in the 18th-century as a manor house located three miles outside of the town of Pinhão. Chanceleiros is a small town famous for its wonderfully tiled train station. Driving through the slopes of the Douro Valley,you arrive in the small village of Chanceleiros and now you are really in rural Portugal.
Quinta de Nápoles, a 74-acre vineyard on an isolated hilltop overlooking the Tedo River, is a beautiful winery owned by the Niepoort Family. Visitors are welcome to enjoy cellar tastings of both their red wine made from the grapes of old port vines as well as numerous port wines themselves. Luís Seabra, the resident winemaker, often leads small groups on tours among the barrels, pulling out batches from various vintages to taste.

Having also recently published his first gourmet cookbook, ‘Uma Cozinha No Douro’ (available in English), he continues to impress both locals and tourists alike with his award winning food and wine lists.
