Warm, friendly and welcoming, Le Vieux Castillon, a sublime group of Renaissance houses, is a haven of tranquillity and a place to relax and get away from the stress of everyday life, that’s well off the beaten track. As a member of Relais & Châteaux, the hotel offers high-quality service in a setting characterized by vaulting and traditional Provençal-style soffits, plant-filled patios and stepped terraces of golden stone, where olives trees and cypresses have pride of place: Provence in its purest form.

Our “traditional” rooms are 20 sq.m in size and offer a full bathroom, separate toilet, mini bar, satellite television, individual safe and air conditioning. They look out over the narrow streets of the village and are decorated in Provençal style, with traditionally painted furniture and quilted bedspreads. This type of room is ideal for short stays of one or two nights, and can accommodate two people. Complimentary chocolates and turn-down service.

Ideal for longer stays, our spacious “superior” rooms are 35 sq.m in size and offer a full bathroom, separate toilet, mini bar, satellite television, individual safe and air conditioning. Some have a sofa bed and can accommodate families of up to 4 people. Our superior rooms overlook the narrow streets of the village or our little patio and are decorated in Provençal style, with painted furniture and quilted bedspreads. Complimentary chocolates and turn-down service.

Our “junior suites” are ideal for families, with two separate rooms (joined by connecting doors or, in one of our suites, a staircase leading to a mezzanine floor) and are especially spacious (around 40 sq.m). All have a sofa bed that is just as comfortable as a standard bed and offer a bathroom, separate toilet, mini bar, satellite television, individual safe and air conditioning. Painted furniture and quilted bedspreads give our suites a real Provençal feel. Complimentary chocolates and turn-down service.

The hotel features a restaurant that is one the region’s best venues for fine dining. La Vieux castillon serves dishes inspired by Procencal cooking and gives pride of place to the area’s prestigiuos produce, including truffles, olives and wine. The cellar is home to more than 250 different vintages, including some of the best from the Cotes du Rhone and the Languedoc. Lunch and dinner are servered on the terrace in the summer.
