In the heart of the Razès region, on the south slope of the Massif, there is the vineyard of Domaine La Louvière which consists of 50 hectares. Classed as Côtes de Malepère : Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Sauvignon (red grapes) & Chardonnay and Chasan (white grapes) are the main grape varieties. The Domaine La Louvière wines, both rich & well balanced, are merely waiting to be tasted, Mr. Schneider will be happy to welcome you to taste his range of wines. Come & visit us (by appointment). You will be warmly welcomed at the Domaine La Louvière wine cellar.

The cultivation of the vine is very traditionnal, & technical innovations now include a system that avoids superfluous treatments of the vine. The grapes that are to be bottled are picked by hand. This method allows only the best of the fruit to be kept. The fermentation & maceration are tightly controlled as to temperature in order to protect the fine aromas of the grapes. All the wines are produced in stainless steel vats to guarantee optimal hygiene. They are then aged between 7-9 months in oak barrels.Tradition & technology working side by side !
