In 2002, following 2 years of extensive renovations, the creation of L’Hotel de Beaune was finally complete – a small luxurious hotel especially designed to cater for guests who were involved in the wine business and similarly, lovers and collectors of fine wine. From the very beginning we were completely focused on those guests and occasionally served lunches and dinners at L’Hotel. In 2008, L’Hotel was the recipient of Wine Spectator’s prestigious “Best of Award of Excellence” for their wine list.
L’Hôtel de Beaune is an exceptional luxuriously restored XIXth century house with its own courtyard. Set in the heart of Beaune with seven exclusive rooms, it offers the highest standard of comfort and service. L’Hôtel is renowned for its privacy and the personalized service it gives to guests.
Our seven rooms were conceived to satisfy the comfort and artistic tastes of the most discerning clientele: marble bathroom with a shower and bath, air-conditioning, king-size beds, mahogany furniture and stucco Italian paintings. Technology is also of the highest standard: no less than 3 telephone lines, CD-DVD player and high speed internet access in every room. Each room possesses original sculptures, lithographs and paintings to perfect the artistic vocation of the hotel. All bedrooms are serviced by an elevator.
With its own individual charm and character, L’Hôtel is decorated and furnished with discreet good taste. Come and relax in our lounge for breakfast, enjoy a drink or maybe just watch TV on the plasma screen. The hotel offers 24-hour room service.
Having been able to secure the building next to L’Hotel, the owner/chef has converted it into a small Bistro to complement L’Hotel and enhance the facilities offered. The Bistro will concentrate on serving simple food, using only the freshest high quality produce from local suppliers – fish and seafood, Poulet de Bresse and Charolais veal and beef as our meat. Truffles and wild mushrooms are featured, Cuisine du Marche! Le Bistro de L’Hôtel has a seating capacity for 40 covers and a Terrace that can seat the same number. Our lounge and private dining room, situated on the 1st floor, are ideal for private functions, private drinks and tastings. L’Hôtel and the Bistro also organize cooking courses and wine visits to great domaines throughout the year.
Accessible from outside or from the hotel elevator, our cellar is at your disposal. You can choose from the most exceptional bottles. Rich in experience of selecting the best crus, the proprietors of the hotel hope you will benefit from this additional service.
