The four-star Hôtel La Terrasse au Soleil and its Gastronomic  Restaurant  “La Cerisaie are located in a romantic setting between mountain and sea and surrounded by colors which inspired the most popular painters. The site is the original farmhouse (once the home of Charles Trenet), plus four additional villas which provide 36 Rooms and Junior Suites with panoramic views. The cuisine is full of southern flavours which can be savoured under the hundred year-old olive tree, facing Mount Canigou. Barcelona is only 2 hours away by car– the Spanish border 15 minutes - Prehistorical center at Tautavel – Castel of Bélesta and Castlenou – Cloister of Elne and St-Genis-des-Fontaines – Palace of Mayorca’s Kings in  Perpignan - museum of Modern Art  in  Céret are all easily within driving distance as well as countless vineyards.

The hotel is situated on the way to Mount Fontfrède, in the middle of chestnuts trees, pine trees and beech trees; all within sight of a beautifull panorama of Spain. The Fugitive Stone reminds us of southern Catalogne. Indeed, during WWI a lot of people crossed the border to find freedom and our village was awarded the War Cross for humanitarian efforts.

Each room includes a Mini-bar, air-conditioning, safe, hairdryer, direct phone , satellite television and other amenities of a quality hotel. In our Gastronomical Restaurant« La Cerisaie », you can savour cooking full of southern flavours and appreciate a candlelit dinner in a romantic atmosphere.

During the summer, our restaurant « La Brasserie de la Plage » provides grills, salads, cheeses and desserts by the swimming pool. Our Chef, Gérard Perreau, proposes a sophisticated and creative Mediterranean menu.
