Château Les Crayères is a luxury 4-star hotel, surrounded by a 17-acre park, located in the heart of Reims in the Champagne region. It is a beautiful, historic castle surrounded by landscaped gardens. The nearby gallo-roman “Crayères” , the Reims Cathedral and dozens of other historic sights as well as the many high quality champagne houses, make this an ideal location . Château les Crayères has twenty rooms, seventeen of which are located inside the Château. In some of them, you’ll be able to see the famous Reims cathedral through the opening in the trees, created by Madame Pommery for the pleasure of the guests. The Chateau has been a member of the Relais et Châteaux chain since 1984.
Luxurious rooms provide a magnificent indoor setting, a terrace in the courtyard of honor, and gastronomic cuisine in the acclaimed restaurant headed by chef, Didier Elena, a disciple of Alain Ducasse. The restaurant provides several different tasting menus featuring both the local champagnes and still wines from both France and abroad. The wine list features over 300 different champagnes and with the Chef Elena’s skills, you may choose never to leave the estate! The restaurant is closed for Tuesday lunch and all day Monday. You can make reservations online via their website. The Chateau also offers Champagne tastings from the top producers in the region and the host will be glad to provide information on the history and style of each of them. Tours of the region can be arranged by the staff, including transportation and reservations.
