Bodegas Nieto Senetiner invites you to visit their winery. They preserve an architectural heritage from 1900, with typical features of those times, including a cane roof sitting on chopped white poplar. Reservations for tours and tastings should be made the day before your visit.
Nieto Senetiner is an Argentine winery known around the world for their focus on the customer, thier high prestige and their attention to family tradition. The company was founded in 1888 by Italian immigrants in the heart of the Lujan de Cuyo, in Vistalba Valley where the terroir is known for its excellent growing conditions. The grape varieties grown on their estates are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Bonarda, Cabernet Franc and Tannat.
With the help of Italian wine maker Alberto Antonini, the winery is producing quality wines for both the domestic and international market. Santa Isabel is its most popular brand on Argentine shelves while the Cadus line is primed for the American and European markets. This is a wine with typical New World deep fruit flavours, dark purple colours and a concentrated palate. A global favourite is their dark blend of Cabernet, Malbec and Merlot called Nicanor. It tastes of smokey, toasted oak with ripe earthy undertones.
Bodegas Nieto Senetiner is so proud of the steps that have been taken to ensure great wine that they offer a “Wine Lover’s School” for visitors. This program specializes in offering the tools to allow visitors/students to truly understand the meaning of wine. The school is a place where knowledge and pleasure melt together. Where you can enjoy yourself while you are learning. Please contact Nieto Senetiner via their online form for additional information about the school and the programs offered.
