Located in Mendoza, one of the eight wine capitals of the world, our winery is the result of an ever-present innovative spirit and passion that drives our search for the highest quality possible from the soil. We are a family-led company, founded in 1963 by Alberto V. Zuccardi and directed today by his son, José Alberto Zuccardi. With vineyards in Vista Flores and Altamira (Uco Valley), Maipú and Santa Rosa, districts of Mendoza. Familia Zuccardi is recognized as an Argentine winery that produces outstanding wines, with a clear commitment to quality and innovation. Our passion for wine is reflected in a culture of hard work shared by more than 700 people here at the winery. This is a culture that creates products today present in the main markets of the world.

Our wines are characterized by their quality and modern style, but mainly through our ability to innovate in every aspect of production, from the vineyard to the elaboration. Our strong capacity to innovate allows us to create non traditional characteristics and varieties, offer new sensations and give our customers the opportunity to appreciate aspects of wine they may never have otherwise known.

Since November 2001, we have shared the secrets of the wine world with those who visit us every day of the year, except Christmas and New Years Day, in our Cava de Turismo. Through original experiences that allow visitors to explore and enjoy the wine-making process through from the harvest to the finished product, Familia Zuccardi is proud to have become known as a pioneer in wine tourism. In 2007, this effort was recognized by the Global Net of the Great Wine Capitals, with the award “Relevant Experience in Wine Tourism”.

Our restaurant, “La Casa del Visitante” offers a unique experience surrounded by beautiful scenery. Any day of the year, via a telephonic booking or e-mail, you are able to enjoy personalized menus, either our “Traditional” menu: cheese, meat and onion empanadas, traditional Argentinean barbecue (asado), grilled vegetables, salads and dessert; and our “Tasting” menu: gourmet dishes elaborated with regional products that vary according to the season. These menus are accompanied by Familia Zuccardi’s wines and single-variety olive oils. Awarded in 2006 as the best winery restaurant by the Global Net of the Great Wine Capitals, “La Casa del Visitante” offers a different way of experiencing our culture for wine. 1. Wines and Food 2. Menus 3. Afternoon tea: an opportunity to enjoy tea with a tempting selection of regional baked goods, while surrounded by vineyards and mountains. This is offered every Saturday and Sunday between May 1st and September 30th.

We place great importance on the care of our grapes, believing that quality originates in the vineyard. As such all our efforts are focused on obtaining the highest quality fruit possible from our vines. That is why we choose the best area for each variety, taking into account the soil, climate and appropriate systems of irrigation and conduction, with our ultimate aim being the production of high quality grapes.
