The Wine Academy also invites all the Douro producers and everybody involved in the wine industry to use its premises in any way they see fit. We also wish the Wine Academy to be an open space of learning and discussion about wine, its production, promotion and consumption. The Wine Academy aims at the promotion of the Douro, World Heritage, its wines and products and at the developing of the wine tourism in the region by organizing a series of both regular and special events within its four branches of activities.

By train from Porto (takes about 2.30 h), and the hotel has is own private gate to the railway station. By car from Porto (about 125 km)- Leave Porto airport and take the A4 motorway in direction of VILA REAL. From Vila Real take the A24 road in direction of RÉGUA. Once in Régua take the road in direction of PINHAO. The Vintage House Hotel is approximately 13 km from Régua.
