Acorn Hollow B&B, is located on the beautiful North Fork of Long Island, New York in the midst of wine country and enveloped by beautiful beaches, bays, coves and creeks. Nestled under stately oak trees on one acre of private, wooded property, Acorn Hollow is a newly built B&B abounding with cozy, country ambiance and charm. Our high quality accommodations in an intimate setting lend themselves to rest, relaxation and romance throughout every season of year.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by your hosts, Robert & Mary Ann Skoblicki, who invite you to share refreshments after your journey. You will be acclimated to the warmth of the B&B as you are given a tour of the parlor and dining room with their rich wooden floors, doors and moldings accented by lovely and comfortable country furnishings. Along the way you will catch delightfully surprising glimpses of seasonal décor hiding in nooks and crannies.

Then, you will be escorted to your beautifully appointed theme room “By The Sea” or “The Woodland Hideaway”. Each room has its own private bathroom, terry robes, individual heat control, central air conditioning, plush pillow top mattresses, luxurious linens and towels, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, ice bucket, champagne glasses, wine glasses, bottle opener, clock radio and a common guest refrigerator with complimentary bottled spring water. Turn down service is provided. Settle in, freshen up and then we will be happy to recommend a restaurant to please even the most discriminating guest.

Each morning a scrumptious, full, homemade country breakfast is served in the dining room between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. Your senses will be awakened by the chef’s choice of “made from scratch” granola, French toast, waffles, pancakes, omelets, quiches, frittatas, muffins, biscuits, popovers, breads or coffee cakes served with ham, bacon or sausage, fresh fruits and juices. Special requests for health related dietary restrictions must be made at the time of reservation. Coffee and tea are available for early risers at 7 a.m. and upon request any time of the day.

We invite you to relax on our front porch overlooking a splashing pond where you can listen to the birds and the chirping of crickets, read a book chosen from our collection or watch the full moon rise. Our parlor has a 27″ color TV with basic cable connection and a DVD player. Play a game of cards or enjoy a board game on our game table.

Your Hosts:
Robert is a recently retired police officer and Mary Ann is a home health care RN. After 20+ years of annual family excursions with our 6 children to pick strawberries and the perfect pumpkin, we fell in love with the North Fork. Now the children are grown and pursuing their own dreams. Working together tending to hearth and home is what we have always done best and we look forward to sharing our hospitality with you in this idyllic setting!
