Villa Creek is located in the historic town of Paso Robles,  on the downtown city park and is only a short walk from the local cinema, live theater, hotels and the various events that take place on the park, including the annual wine festival. Paso Robles has numerous nearby attractions including over 100 wineries, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle and Hunter Ranch Golf Course.

The restaurant’s mission at Villa Creek is to serve local, organically or sustainably farmed products in simple rustic preparations, taking inspiration from the padres of the early California missions. Chef Tom Fundaro has built strong relationships with the local growers and producers. With this bounty of fresh, local, organic, and sustainable ingredients at hand, he offers simple, rustic, and creative dishes centered in the cuisine of early California. The local and international compilation of wines and premium bar selection complement the early California and Mediterranean inspired cuisine. 

Villa Creek offers “fun and affordable alternatives to our regular menu Mid-week Specials” (visit their website) such as Taco Tuesdays where for $2 you can enjoy tacos in the bar or Paella Wednesdays.  At Villa Creek, “we believe every meal is an opportunity for celebration!”

Villa Creek Cellars
Villa Creek also has a strong connection to wine via owning their vineyard, Villa Creek Cellars.
All great wine begins with a passionate farmer. The grapes of the area’s most progressive vineyards currently grace the wines of Villa Creek Cellars. Per acre contracts insure that the fruit comes off the same blocks each vintage. The Cherry’s own 70 acre estate on the west side of Paso Robles boasts elevations of 1400-1800 feet, calcareous soils, south facing slopes and ample water. Grape growing conditions don’t get much better. The Cherry’s look forward to planting their first grape vines in 2009.

In the spirit of the great wine producers of the southern Rhone and the bodegas of Rioja and Priorat, blending is what Villa Creek does best. The area’s finest Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Tempranillo Vineyards are just a stone’s throw from the west Paso Robles winery where these blends are lovingly produced by winemaker Cris Cherry and his wife JoAnn.
