Trattoria Grappolo specializes in country regional food: Veal Scallopini, Risotto, home made Tortellini, and also Cioppino and Pizza in a fun “gathering place” atmosphere - with friendly and excellent service.

Brothers Alfonso and Leonard Curti came to Santa Ynez via the Calabria region in the coastal village of Cariati Marina - at the southern tip of Italy to form the backbone of the Trattoria Grappalo. Taking with them their passion for classic Tuscan cuisine, they now offer such specialties as salmon ravioli with a lemon cream sauce, petit veal rack, pork tenderloin with balsamic sweet onion, and crostini with artichoke paste and ricotta cheese.

Their food oddessy began in 1997 when Leonardo partnered with Daniele Serra, an associate from a restaurant the two worked at in Beverly Hills, to form Trattoria Grappolo. Soon after Alfonso finished his military service in Italy and came to help out.

The restaurant is indeed a fun place to work and it comes across in the food and service. Staff always seem to be smiling and the regardless of your mood coming in, you leave feeling happy and full.  The wine list offers many well priced options from both Italy and local vineyards with several offered by the glass.
