Every Friday thru Sunday, a farm house on 10th Street in San Miguel turns into a Basque party. The Tenth Street Cafe offers an eight-course dinner native to the Basque regions of Spain and France. The seating is family-style, so dining next to local winemakers is not just possible, but likely.

Always Chef’s Choice dinner starts with a whle bunch of tapas, followed by soup, salad, migas, and always two main courses with complimentary sides and dessert.

The main courses could be smoked roast beef with a hunter merlot sauce, the award winning paella, roasted leg of lamb, sage stuffed pork roll, bouillabaise, roasted rosemary chicken, whole fish on cedar planks cooked in our own stone oven, or our signature dish, “The Pyrenees”, or whaterver the chef may have up his sleeve.

The Tenth Street Vineyard Cafe features wines that are local, very local! the hot days and cool nights of the Central coast result in a marvelous and bountiful selection of world class wnes. In the wine business themselves, Dallas and Caren Holt bring to the Vineyard Cafe a unique viewpoint and knowledge most restaurants don’t have. They offer local wines that normally are only available at tasting rooms. Each of the wines they carry is extraordinary, reasonably-priced, and has been specifically chosen to accompany the Vineyard Cafe’s hearty food. Even the house wines are great.
