Welcome to our tasting room.  We have an award winning selection of hand-crafted wines for your enjoyment. Visit the tasting room and try our wines using  Reidel glasses. Our patio and picnic area were enhanced with a full-wall, wine-country Mural, inviting visitors to stay a while. 

My dream came true when in 1991 we established Tefft Cellars Winery in eastern Washington’s Yakima Valley, the heart of the Columbia Valley’s wine country. It’s hard to believe that was 16 years ago this year. Since the beginning,  we were determined to dedicate our knowledge of the wine-making process to producing distinctive, quality wines. 

We love the total experience of living and working here at Tefft Cellars Winery. We love seeing and helping the vineyards grow; we love creating wines that express the character of the grapes grown here; and we love meeting and visiting with people who also love wine — people who find pleasure in learning about the traditional art of wine-making and its relationship with the land.  In fact, several times a year, we host gatherings at our winery that are attended by just these kinds of people.  Together, we celebrate this beautiful Washington wine region called the Yakima Valley.

Tefft Cellars produces the following wines: Chardonnay, Villa Toscana, Cabernet-Merlot blend, Merlot, Puncheon Aged Estate Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Villa Rocca (Super Tuscan), Rosey Outlook (a true rose’ of Cabernet Franc), a Sparkling wine and a couple of dessert style wines that will sure to amaze you!

Outlook Inn Guest House
The completely renovated Outlook Inn Guest House at Tefft Cellars is available for rent. A stay at our cozy villa will be sure to make your stay in Washington wine country more enjoyable and comfortable. Located in the heart of the Washington wine country a stay at the Outlook Inn Guest House offers a convenient, private and quiet place to retire after a long day of wine tasting and touring.

The guesthouse features 3 bedrooms each with queen beds and full bath with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare your meals during your stay. A large and secluded deck overlooking the Tefft Cellars vineyards is off the back of the house.  This is a beautiful place to sit and soak in your surroundings, enjoy a glass of wine with a book or good company or fire up the BBQ grill and enjoy an outdoors feast.

Spend a day wine tasting and touring the local attractions, and then enjoy a stroll through the vineyard for that special feeling of life in the country. Say goodnight to  Mount Adams and Rainier standing majestically in the setting sun. Our Guest House can be rented for a weekend, a week, or for as long as the wine country calls you. There is a 2-night minimum.
