Set in the El Dorado Hotel in the heart of downtown Sonoma, El Dorado Kitchen blends sophisticated urban style with a relaxed wine-country spirit in a setting that is at once simple and dramatic, contemporary and comfortable. Here you’ll be treated to superb contemporary California cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Justin Everett. The restaurant offers a stunning stone courtyard for outside dining, a relaxing lounge with a fireplace for cocktails, and an inviting private dining room for the ultimate intimate gathering. El Dorado Kitchen is open for lunch and dinner daily.

Executive Chef Justin Everett describes his food as “farm driven”. His menu is a collection of earthy yet sophisticated, complex yet straightforward dishes that showcase the essence of the fresh seasonal produce.  Everett’s deeply satisfying cuisine can be enjoyed fireside in our lobby, underneath the fig tree in our garden courtyard or you can be totally decadent in your own private cabana – complete with chandelier.  Day beds by the pool offer a relaxing setting for meals under the clear Sonoma sky.

In the center of the main dining room, parties of up to 22 can gather around a 21-foot-long table fashioned from a single wood plank reclaimed from a Vermont bridge. This table is perfectly positioned to afford each diner a view of the artistic talents of Executive Chef Justin Everett at the helm in the open kitchen.

With an extensive Wine List featuring wines from California and beyond, we strive to seek out & showcase wineries that promote organic & biodynamic agriculture.  Our wide range of enticing Sonoma wines, including superb selections from up & coming artisan vintners, perfectly compliments our seasonal menu.  With a selection of over 20 wines by the glass we encourage our guests to enjoy the right wine with every course. 

The house drink selections are a handcrafted fusion of inventive ingredients & distinguished talent.  Instead of the usual list of “everything-itis”, we offer our own inventive house drinks, such as the refreshing ‘Peach Jalapeno,’ an intriguing blend of sliced peppers and peach vodka, with lime and white cranberry juice.
