Campagne is located at the Inn at the Market in the Pike Place Market and has received national recognition for the outstanding quality of its cuisine, ambience and service. Taking its inspiration from the sun-drenched cuisine of Southern France, Campagne uses only the freshest ingredients: the exquisite produce, seafood and game of the Pacific Northwest. In 2000 owner Peter Lewis joined forces with Simon Snellgrove to perpetuate Campagne’s commitment to excellence.
Campagne’s wine program is idiosyncratic and sophisticated—some might even say “quirky”. We work closely with winemakers, importers and distributors to bring to the discerning consumer the finest, most unique wines available on the market. The list contains over 400 selections including rarely seen dessert wines.
Our relationships are special and of longstanding nature. We visit France and the wine districts of the Pacific Northwest annually to renew and nurture these relationships, visiting vineyards and cellars to taste and see and learn. To this end we work exclusively with viticulteurs/vignerons, eschewing négociants and cave-cooperatives. We understand that we play a special role in the “wine chain” as it stretches from winemaker to consumer, and we treasure the special place we occupy in the minds and hearts and palates of our patrons.
Exquisite food that’s treated as respectfully as the customers… Whatever route you take to Campagne, a great evening is assured.”- Zagat Survey
In addition to Campagne (the restaurant), there is also Café Campagne, which features a more down-to-earth bistro fare than the more upscale Campagne Restaurant. Our menus are inspired by the cuisines of Provence and Southern France.
